The Basics
🎯 Goal: Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Going over = Bust = you lose.
🂱 Card values: Number cards = face value. J, Q, K = 10. Ace = 1 or 11 (whichever helps more).
🏠 Dealer rule: The dealer must keep hitting until they reach 17 or more. They can't choose to stop early.
🃏 Blackjack: Getting Ace + a 10-value card on your first 2 cards = instant win (usually pays 1.5x)!

Ask for another card. You can keep hitting as many times as you want, unless you bust.

Stop taking cards. The dealer then plays their hand and whoever is closer to 21 wins.

Double your bet and get exactly one more card. Only on your first 2 cards. Good when you have 10 or 11.
↔️
Split
If your first 2 cards match (e.g. two 8s), you can split into 2 separate hands. Each hand gets one more card.
Quick Tips
Always stand on 17 or higher — the risk of busting is too high.
Always hit on 8 or less — you can't bust!
If dealer shows 2–6, they're likely to bust — you can stand lower.
Split Aces and 8s — always. Never split 10s or 5s.
